Brownies

¾ cup flour
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1-cup sugar
½ cup margarine, softened
2 eggs
2 or 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
1-teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts

Mix flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl beat sugar and butter until mixed. Add eggs and beat until very light and fluffy. Beat in chocolate and vanilla. Fold in flour mixture. Stir in half the walnuts. Turn into greased and floured 8x8x2 inch baking pan and sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean and top is shiny. Do not over bake. Cool in pan on rack about 30 minutes, then cut in squares.
