Creamy Chocolate Pie
- 1 - 9 inch pie shell
- 3 - (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 - (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
- ¼ - teaspoon salt
- ¼ - cup hot water
- 1 - teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - cup (½ pint) whipping cream, whipped
In saucepan, over medium heat, melt chocolate squares with condensed milk and salt. Cook and stir until thick and fudgy, 5 to 8 minutes. Add water; cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils. Remove from heat; add vanilla extract. Cool 15 minutes. Chill 20 to 30 minutes; stir. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into shell. Chill 3 hours. Garnish as desired.
