Crab Cakes

1 pound eastern crab meat, flaked, or 3 packages (6 oz.) frozen crab, thawed and flaked
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 egg
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
2 teaspoons Worcestershire
2 drops hot pepper sauce
½ teaspoons dry mustard
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8-teaspoon pepper
2 cups soft breadcrumbs
½ cup oil

Pick over crabmeat, discarding cartilage, set aside. Mix mayonnaise, egg, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, pepper sauce, mustard, salt and pepper. Add crabmeat and 1-cup breadcrumbs; mix well. Shape in 8 patties and coat with remaining 1-cup crumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown, turning once.
