Southern Peach Cobbler
- 1 can (29 oz.) sliced cling peaches in heavy syrup, drained
- ½ cup sugar
- 1-tablespoon flour
- 1-teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup margarine or butter
- 1 tube of refrigerator sugar cookies
- Ice Cream (optional)
Put peaches in 9-inch pie plate or 8-inch square baking pan. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon, sprinkle over peaches and
dot with butter. Bake in preheated 425-degree oven until hot and bubbly, about 15 minutes. Meanwhile prepare sugar cookie
dough, roll out and cut into squares by 2x2 inches. Arrange on top of peaches. Return to oven and bake for 15 minutes or until
dough is done. Serve warm with homemade vanilla ice cream.
