Perfection Salad

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
½ cup sugar
1 ½ cups water
¼ cup vinegar
¼ cup lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup thinly sliced celery
1 cup shredded cabbage
¼ cup sliced pimento
Lettuce leaves
Mayonnaise

Mix gelatin and sugar in saucepan; add ½ cup water and cook and stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves. Stir in remaining 1-cup water and chill until thickened. Stir in remaining ingredients except lettuce and mayonnaise and pour into 3-½ cup mold. Chill until firm. Unmold onto lettuce-lined platter. Serve with mayonnaise.
