Pumpkin Bread

4 cups sugar
1 ½ cup oil
4 cups pumpkin, canned
3 eggs
1-cup nuts, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkgs. Dates, chopped
5 cups flour
2-½ teaspoon soda
2-teaspoon cinnamon
1-teaspoon salt
1-teaspoon allspice and cloves
1-teaspoon vanilla extract

Cream sugar with oil, add canned pumpkin and mix well. Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour, soda, salt and spices together and add to cream mixture. Fold in the chopped nuts, dates and vanilla extract. Bake in a loaf pan at 325 degrees for about one hour. Cool before removing from pan.
