Three Bean Salad

½ cup vinegar
¼ cup oil
2 tablespoons sugar
1-teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of garlic powder
1 can (16 oz.) green beans, drained
1 can (16 oz.) cut wax beans or chickpeas, drained
1 can (16 oz.) red kidney beans, drained
¼ cup sliced green onion
Lettuce leaves

Mix vinegar, oil, sugar, pepper and garlic powder. Add beans and onion, and then toss well. Cover and refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Tossing occasionally. Serve in lettuce-lined bowl.

Makes 8 to 10 servings
